A beautiful morning, warm, dry - there was some rain overnight - and sunny, had to get out of the tent it was too hot!
Over Whitley Pike and Pardon Hill to Brown Rigg Head before a long trek through the forest to Byrness.There is a little church at Byrness that was definitely worth going for a look.There is a window to commemorate the building of the Catcleugh Reservoir.Up Byrness Hill and onto moorland again, this time The Cheviots.Looking towards Catcleugh Reservoir |
