14th May.
Another beautiful day, a cold start with a heavy dew. The forecast was giving rain for later but it just held off until I arrived at the hostel.
God's bridge is a natural rock formation over the river
There were no big climbs today but several up and overs and some great views.Rolling moorland and a little owl that checked me out a couple of times on its patrols.
I reached Middleton in Teesdale at lunch time, the same time as someone who apparently takes his traction engine to the pub on Sunday lunchtimes.
