Heavy rain overnight had just about stopped by morning with enough breeze to keep the midges away.
The long climb up from the bothy was quite pleasant as every time I looked back there was a magnificent view to the hills I climbed yesterday.
Over the top and down to the Corrie Hallie woods.
The road here is part of the North Coast 500 and it was obviously motor bike day, very noisy.
The climb up and over to Loch Broom is on a good stalkers path and at the top there is another magnificent view.
There were a number of Dark Green Fritillaries by the path down, didn't manage to get a picture though.
From Inverlael I zigzagged up on forest tracks again with more great views of the hills.
Over the top and down to camp at the top of Glen Douchary. A lot of clegs about but windy so no midges.
18 miles walked 1400 meters ascent.

Looked up dark green fritillary, thinking it was a new plant! Oops, 🦋. No wonder you couldn’t photograph it! J
