Day one hundred and twelve - Maol Bhuidhe to Craig

 20th June.

A lovely morning, some cloud and a light breeze.

Breakfasted and away early today, not sure why as the hostel I'm heading for isn't open until 5.
The river crossing below the lochan was, as expected, very easy and the ground that is usually very boggy dry enough to walk with ease.
Around the bottom of the hill to meet the track Bendronaig Lodge which skirts Loch Calavie before descending to the lodge.
As I was in no hurry and the weather was good there were plenty of stops to admire the views.
Just before Bendronaig I turned right onto a track that became a path before vanishing altogether on the way up to Bealach Bhearnais.
There were a couple of light showers on the way up but again not enough to put a jacket on.
While I was sitting at the bealach there was a bird of prey calling but I saw nothing so have no idea what it was.
There is a good path down to Pollan Buidhe where there is a rope crossing, not needed today.
To Gerry's Hostel, an 'interesting' place.

15 miles walked 700 meters ascent.
