Day one hundred and ten - Barrisdale to Sheil Bridge

 18th June.

The wind picked up a bit overnight, and there was a rain shower, so the day started very well. There was enough cloud cover to prevent it becoming too hot.

Loch Hourn was at its best this morning and the whole area looked beautiful, as it always does.
The path to Kinlochhourn is a typical coast path as it swoops up and down with 500 meters of ascent and descent in 6.5 miles on a variety of difficult surfaces. Beautiful but not easy.

I was looking forward to the café at Kinlochhourn but it was shut.
Looking back to Kinlochhourn
No snack, so steeply up the other side following the power lines.
Loch Nevis
North then up towards Bealach Coire Mahalagain below The Saddle.
The last bit was a very steep climb but surprisingly there was water all the way up.

A very rocky traverse below the Forcan Ridge.

Then a path down Coire Caol to Gleann Undalain.
Before the final descent to Glen Sheil campsite and a shower.

Loch Duich in the evening

16.5 miles walked 1400 meters ascent.
