Day ninety five - The Paps of Jura

 3rd June.

Perfect day with some sea fog forming later.

A fine starting point.
Up the road for a few miles before a surprisingly boggy path heading for the hills.

The three paps are all very steep with a lot of scree making an interesting climb.
There is a big descent between the hills as well, they are not matronly paps!
It was a bit easier today as I wasn't carrying the tent and other gear however it felt strange walking without poles as they were holding up the tent.

Two paps from the third.
There were a couple of other people walking some or all of the hills who were all staying at the campsite as well.Back to Craighouse for an evening of traditional music in the pub.
Frog

Three-toothed Orchid.

16 miles walked 1400 meters ascent.

As a "matron" Joy was amused by your comment about The Paps.
