Day eighteen - Watchet to North Petherton

The weather was much better today, light wind and only occasional drizzle. Took the coast path for the first bit then climbed up to the Quantock Hills.

The sunshine in the morning was enough to take off my jacket and put on the sun hat. The Quantocks are good, easy walking  popular with mountain bikers and horse riders.

The traverse was straightforward but I managed to get slightly lost coming down, there are loads of signed paths, many not on the map and the Macmillan Way, that I was following, only seems to be marked for coming from the other direction.

One section of deep mud again before gaining the road to the Campsite at North Petherton.

Just managed to get to a pub to see the end of the match that completed Ireland's grand slam.

21 miles walked 920 meters ascent
