Today started better than the forecast but by mid afternoon the wind picked up and the rain started.

The path from here while still the same up and down looks very different on the right with fertile grass fields and rolling countryside.
Out of Cornwall at last, maybe if I had stayed there the weather would have been better?
Reached Hartland Quay as the wind and rain reached a crescendo and turned inland up the road straight into it.

The forecast for tomorrow is strong gales so today could be the last of the cliff paths for a while.
16 miles walked 1000 meters ascent.
