18th April.
The weather today started well but gradually became more overcast until it started to rain at about five o'clock.
Lamphey Church |
Some of the church towers look as if they were put up by castle builders.
The walk today was mainly on roads, both small and large.
.I arrived at Pembroke Castle just as it opened so a look round, with cup of tea, was an interesting break. Onwards to Pembroke Dock and over the bridge to Neyland.
Llanstadwell |
Another church / castle tower then on to the oil jetties and tanks where there is also a good costal path.
Past the LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal, where a large ship had just finished discharging.
Then around the corner to the campsite at Sandy Haven.
18 miles walked 600 meters ascent.
