At last, the first step taken from the Housel Bay Hotel.

A cold wind from the NE but it stayed dry for a good, short, first days walk. Little cafés in a couple of the bays provided cups of tea and lunch and after a great breakfast at the hotel I was well fed for the day.
Stopped at Porthleven, basic campsite but a pub that brews it's own excellent, well priced beer.

Don't expect any deep philosophical insights into the meaning of life the universe and everything, we know the answer is 42 anyway, just a few notes and pictures mainly to remind myself of what I have done.
Out for a family meal last night and partying afterwards. A good time was had by all.
A bit jaded this morning though, some more than others!

Normal problems, points failure, signalling problems, then got stuck behind a slow local train so missed the connection!
Managed to get there in the end.
The quality of first class meals seems to have deteriorated.
