Getting to the start of the TGO Challenge 2025.
It was a perfect Hebridean morning, cool (so no midges) and windless with the sun rising into a clear sky.

It was a shame to be leaving beautiful Barra but hopefully the good weather will continue for a few days on the mainland.

Checked in at the hostel, washed my smalls, and wandered along to Dunollie Castle, I didn't go into the house and museum as I was saving up for a rather pricey seafood restaurant in the evening.

An excellent meal at the restaurant and back to bed in the hostel. I'm in room 101, not sure if that's a good omen or not!
