South West Coast Path, again. 21/3/25

Day 1. 21st Mar

A bus ride to Plymouth today to try and walk the Plymouth to Poole section. It was a grey morning but not cold as the Falcon bus whisked me down the motorway after yesterday's celebration of Andy's birthday. Thanks for the hospitality Jacky.

Plymouth

The afternoon brightened a bit and there was a nice, short, walk round to the river Yealm to get me into walking mode.

Unfortunately the seasonal ferries are not running at this time of year and the most practical way round the river, apart from walking the twelve mile diversion via the bridge, was to get a bus.

Evening light, Wembury 

There are only three buses a day to Newton Ferrers so I went back to Plymouth and stayed there for the night ready to get a bus in the morning.

9 miles walked and back where I started!
